We are excited to present our second collaboration with luxury watch label Frederique Constant, a professional video for their Highlife World Timer model.
This video was created with four different sequences, displaying four different stories, at the different time.
Combining each of the four segments in one video was challenging due to our length and lighting constraints transitions, so we opted to show our client two versions of the video: one with the yacht, and one on the dunes.
Our first filming was on a yacht in the Balearics, followed by a private jet and a supercar in Germany, and finished on the picturesque Dunnes beach in Gran Canaria.
In addition to our Video Production services we also came up with a message following the story displayed on the video.
We strove to convey the message that comes with a World Timer.
ESCAPE was the word we discovered. We run, as if we’re escaping from something, and need to be elsewhere in urgency.
Or, perhaps we’re just escaping our daily hustles.
The video features a lone hero, so we changed the narrative that being alone is always a negative thing. Instead, we directed scenes that portrayed the values of SOLITUDE.
We wanted this video to resonate with people who value the freedom that comes with solitude, and make them fall in love with the World Timer. It was designed to show that the watch was the only companionship they needed, therefore we went with the theme ‘Savoring Solitude with The Highlife World Timer.
Our creation proved ideal for Frederique Constant’s website; client had not decided upon a vertical video better suited to social media but only for the Cinematic Video.
This collaboration marks the longest project we have ever created for a client. It wasn’t just due to the filming, which itself lasted for four days in total. It was due to the arrangement of the filming.
Usually, we deliver these types of projects within two or a maximum of three weeks. This project came with a series of challenges: 3 jet cancellations, due maintenance, snow, and even more unexpected occurrences. It was difficult to manage and plan everything we had to take care of: a yacht charter, a jet charter, a supercar, and scouting the perfect spot in Gran Canaria’s dunes.
For this commercial, we did everything ourselves, so the client did not have to organize anything from their side. The client only had to provide financial resources.
We managed all the location scouting for the video production, the asset management, and the video production itself. It took almost 50 hours of filming, 9 days of post production, and constant dedication to excellence.
